The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Defiant flips the script on the classic Jordan 1, bringing a DIY-inspired look to one of MJ’s most iconic silhouettes. Originally introduced in 1985, the AJ1 gets a modern update here, with this colourway releasing in July 2019 in a mix of black, Tour Yellow, white and Gym Red.

The upper is built from premium white leather, but what sets this pair apart is the deconstructed feel. You’ll notice shadow Swooshes stitched into the side panels with frayed detailing across multiple sections, giving it that unfinished, custom look. A bold yellow Swoosh stands out on the medial side, adding contrast and breaking up the design.

Classic Air Jordan 1 features are still intact, including the high-top shape, Wings logo on the collar and durable rubber outsole with pivot-point traction. It’s a balance of heritage and experimentation, keeping the AJ1 DNA while pushing the design in a new direction.
