The Nike Air Jordan 12 "Flu Game" got its name from the 'flu' which Michael Jordan caught during the 1997 NBA finals. Or at least, that's what most people believed.

The Chicago Bulls spent the night in Utah the night before game 5. MJ ordered pizza to his hotel room, but it ended up giving him food poisoning. A little bit suspicious, doesn't it?

On game day, Michael Jordan scored 38 points, leading the Bulls to a 2 point victory against the Jazz, while wearing his Black and Red Jordan 12s on feet.

The Jordan 12 "Flu Game" returns in 2025 in original form. Featuring a contrasting black and red leather upper, this sneaker is titled the "Bred" Air Jordan 12 by many old original sneakerheads. The Jumpman logo is presented on the tongue and heel tab.
